Clears up zits quickly; perfect size for travel
I am in my late 30s but still occasionally get zits around the hair line. Recently, I tried both the Avon Pore-Fection Oil Free Skin Clearing Gel and the Clearskin Immediate Response Spot Treatment. Both products are excellent in reducing redness and quickly drying out the blemishs.
Of the two, I have a slight preference for the Pore-Fection as it seems to be slighly more gentle on your face. When I applying the Clearskin product, I occasionally feel a slight sting on the trouble spot. While the sensation is not unpleasant, I have never felt any stinging with the Pore-Fection product.
From a packaging perspective, the Clearskin product is well designed for business travelers.
It does the job
This product comes in a tiny little tube, and you simply apply it to any blemishes and leave it on overnight. When you wake up, blemishes are either dimished or gone altogether. The only drawback is that it doesn't always work, but it is more effective than most products.
Doesn't work that well
This stuff does not make my acne disappear overnight. It doesn't even work on consecutive uses on the same acne spots. All it does is dry up on my skin and peel off. At best, it may calm the skin and prevent new acne from forming.
